Specialized in designing automation tools that increase user efficiency within a large cybersecurity suite. My work focused on extending established design patterns to address complex new scenarios, including the integration of Generative AI into security operations.
Challenge Highlight: AI Trust & Control
Designed workflows that used AI to revise event summaries and suggested actions while preserving operator control. The core challenge was trust: users needed to accept, edit, or bypass AI output in high-risk situations. The solution kept the human in the loop with clear review states and easy revert paths.
Zibasec: Compliance Platform
Led end-to-end design for a phishing simulation and compliance platform used by government agencies, including the DOJ. The primary objective was to create a modular, auditable system that aligned with strict regulatory standards and WCAG accessibility requirements while maintaining a distinctive visual identity.
Challenge Highlight: Modular Complexity
Users needed to confirm complex campaign requirements without opening every object. I designed a "dynamic sentence" overview that summarized dependencies in plain language and surfaced completion status at a glance. This reduced configuration misses and helped non-technical operators run compliance campaigns with more confidence.
Georgia Tech: Modernization
Modernized fragmented internal research and compliance tools into a unified suite. Standardized UI patterns and reusable components improved maintainability and gave teams more consistent workflows across applications.
Challenge Highlight: Universal Progress
Designed a dynamic status map for proposals with complex routing. The solution was a collapsible progress bar that supported inserting and removing steps and sub-steps while still showing "past, present, and future" status so that users could understand their location in the process as situations changed.
